Samantha Seewoosurrun is the Women in Africa Ambassador for Mauritius, and she is passionate about promoting opportunities for training and networking for women entrepreneurs on the island. She is Managing Director of the PR and publishing company Perpetual Motion Ltd, where she supports a wide range of women-owned businesses. She recently assisted the Association of Women in Investment and Finance in Mauritius and EU Africa RISE in the launch of a report and a charter to support growth of women in leadership positions in the financial sector.

She is the creator and co-founder of the pan-African news portal Platform Africa, which covers entrepreneurship, finance, technology and energy, with readers from across the African continent. She is a Member of the National Women Entrepreneur Council and she also participates in the activities of SheTrades in Mauritius. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, where she is Chair of the International Committee and the founder of the network in Mauritius.
